John Pollard is Bushell Professor of Neurology at the University of Sydney, Co-Director of the Nerve Research Foundation and a Director of the Brain Mind Institute. His laboratory is the Reference Laboratory for muscle and nerve for NSW. Professor Pollard has written over 150 scientific papers, 28 book chapters and edited two major textbooks in Neurology. He has a particular interest in immune-based neuropathies as well as Multiple Sclerosis. He is involved in a number of international trials of therapeutic agents for Multiple Sclerosis. He is on the Board of Editors of a number of international scientific journals
